Our Story

Tayanti was born from the shared dream of five partners passionate about Peruvian gastronomy and warm hospitality.

Noticing that Ottawa lacked a true representation of Peru’s rich culinary heritage, they decided to create a restaurant that would fill that void. Four of them, Peruvians with years of experience managing and working in restaurants, joined forces with a partner specialized in public relations and event organization a key ally in positioning the brand locally.

More than just a restaurant, Tayanti is a celebration of Peru’s flavors, colors, and traditions, reimagined for a modern dining experience. From the first ceviche to the last pisco sour, every detail reflects the soul of a culture that finds joy in sharing good food with others.

Mission

To share the authentic flavors and warmth of Peru through dishes crafted with love, tradition, and local ingredients offering our guests an experience that blends cultural heritage with contemporary dining in the heart of Ottawa.

Vision

To become Ottawa’s most recognized Peruvian restaurant a place where locals and visitors alike can discover Peru’s culinary richness, celebrate together, and feel at home through genuine hospitality and unforgettable flavors.
